What’cha Reading takes the NYCC Plunge with Red Stylo Media!

We’re sponsoring a booth! After many years of attending, covering, and busting our collective butts at the show we’ve decided to take the plunge and man a booth. In order to do that we’ve thrown our lot in with one of our favorite publishers Red Stylo Media!

If you’ve missed the 42 thousand times we’ve reviewed their offerings in the past let me give you the low-down…

What'cha Reading takes the NYCC Plunge with Red Stylo Media!RED STYLO MEDIA (RSM) is an independent comics publisher, founded in 2008 by writer, Enrica Jang. We began with a successful Kickstarter campaign for Enrica’s first series, AZTECA, and continue to produce and publish original comic series and graphic novels.

In 2011 RSM launched a series of popular comics anthologies, Red Stylo Presents. A new theme is chosen each year and kicks off with an open call in January for writers and artists to contribute. The collections are published both digitally and in print in October each year. Over 200 artists and writers have been featured in Red Stylo anthologies, both aspiring and veteran artists alike, and the catalog also features an expanded digital library of titles and art.

So what does this mean? Well we’ll have a presence at the convention (small press booth #1140) where throughout the weekend you can come and talk comics, show off your cosplay, and tell us all about the new and interesting comics we should be reviewing!

And while your there you can peruse the excellent offerings Red Stylo brings to every convention. Along with most of their catalog they’ll be hosting signings of their new graphic novel anthology 27 Club and a few panels, head over to the Red Stylo site for the schedule.

So stop by, say hi! Booth #1140 check us out on the NYCC map here.
