That’s right “Holmesians” one of my favorite takes on the character of Sherlock Holmes is finally being released in color!
And take a look at how beautifully it came out!
It’s great to see how a good colorist can actually enhance already impressive work. Paul Mendoza & GuruEFX have taken solid pages and brought them one step further, adding even more mood and emotion. Those pages look great, but here’s the one I’d want as a print:
But honestly I’d be hard pressed to decide if I’d want it more with or without colors! The book has been tweaked here and there since its original publication but having read both I can tell you it hasn’t altered the story one iota.
If you’re in the market for a well written Sherlock Holmes story with some really top-notch art call you’re local shop and make sure they’re getting this book.
