The entire booth was trains. Trains everywhere! I love Lionel trains and this year I got to see the coolest set ever!
Batman M7 LionChief Subway Set!
The choice of a subway train was perfect, it really reminds you of the 70’s and 80’s inner city subway lines, like the ones I rode in the NYC of my youth. The set includes 3 cars (BATMAN M7 powered car, ARKHAM ASYLUM Inmates M7 non-powered car, and THE BATTLE M7 non-powered car) which measure 49” connected and enough track for a 40” x 60” layout. The passenger cars have doors that manually open and internal lights. And to top it all off besides the normal engine and train whistle sounds it sports several lines spoken by the Batman himself!
Click on the images above for a better look at the ARKHAM ASYLUM Inmates M7 non-powered car!
The set number is 6-81475 and it retails for $369.99
But wait! There’s more!
Set 6-81479 – DC Comics BATMAN Add-on M7 Subway Car Pair
“Heads or Tails?” Two-Faced non-powered passenger car & “Tell me your Fears” Scarecrow non-powered passenger car
These cars have the manual opening doors and interior illumination. The two pack retails for $139.99.
Let’s say you already have a set and you’d just like to add a car or two, well my friends then what you need is…
Superman/Green Lantern Justice League Boxcar 2-Pack!
Set 6-82684 come with die-cast metal sprung trucks/operating couplers and metal frames. The cars have doors that open as well. It retails for $169.99
