So I’m scrolling through my Facebook feed the other day, when Previews has this guy pop up. Immediately, I’m intrigued.

It’s not out until July, but Numbercruncher #1 is going to join my pull list. First of all, it’s written by Si Spurrier, who wrote X-Men: Legacy. Second, Titan calls Numbercrunchera time-twisting romantic thriller-noir metaphysical black comedy” – that’s just begging to be put in my hot little hands.

We’ve got a lovesick guy, called the Mathematician, who wants to be reincarnated in his lover’s lifetime. So he cheats the rules of the Universe, and ends up with a Karmic agent named Bastard Zane – I’m guessing that’s the gentleman above – on his tail.

This looks like it’s going to be a heck of a ride. Check out the art, by P.J. Holden:

About Author

Rosemary Kiladitis is a children’s librarian, a mom, and a proud fangirl/nerdgirl. She did her homework while watching reruns of the 1966 Batman series, which led to her longstanding relationship with the Bat, and she’s pretty sure that Barbara Gordon is the real reason she went to library school. She loves superheroes, supervillains, and is secretly married to Hellboy. Or Loki. She can’t remember, but it’s one of them. Roe blogs about children’s and teen books at http://roespot.blogspot.com, and you can read her 140 character ramblings on twitter @RoeSolo.
