This Week in Comic-Book Television – 11/23/2015


Here’s a look at the comic-book television shows that air this week.  As we near closer to Thanksgiving and the Christmas and holiday season, so many of the shows we’ve been enjoying are coming to an end.  With many of the mid-season finales scheduled to air soon, the next few weeks are ones viewers and fans most certainly will not want to miss.

Monday, November 23, 2015

This Monday is really the only full night of comic-book television with new episodes of FOX’s Gotham and CBS’ Supergirl airing.

Gotham – “The Son of Gotham” – 8 PM ET on Fox.  Check your local listings.

Gordon (Ben McKenzie) confronts a suspect who is connected to Galavan (James Frain), but falls short of obtaining any information. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) gets one step closer to discovering the name of his parent’s killer.


Supergirl – “How Does She Do It?” – 8 PM ET on CBS.  Check your local listings.

Kara’s two identities are stretched thin when Supergirl must protect National City from a series of bombings and Kara is tasked with babysitting Cat’s son, Carter. Also, James is conflicted when his ex-girlfriend Lucy Lane seeks to rekindle their relationship, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Nov. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Levi Miller guest stars as Carter Grant, Cat’s son, and Jenna Dewan-Tatum guest stars as Lucy Lane.

Tuesday, November 24th & Wednesday, November 25th

The CW’s The Flash and Arrow, along with Agents of SHIELD return the first week of December.  Original episodes will not be shown this week.  Until new episodes, we have your previews of the upcoming episodes.

The CW’s The Flash and Arrow will return on Tuesday, December 1st and Wednesday, December 2nd for the first crossover of season two – “Legends of Today.”

In “Legends of Today, its second major crossover event with Arrow, Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings, AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel), shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.

Agents of SHIELD – “Closure” – 9 PM ET on ABC.  Check your local listings. 12/1/2015

“Closure” – Ward’s campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to their knees, and Coulson proves he will do anything to settle the score, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, December 1st on ABC.

The Walking Dead airs its mid-season finale. “Start To Finish.”  The hit AMC series returns in February 2016!
