Supergirl – “Childish Things” Preview

1

After a one week absence, CBS’ hit show Supergirl returns tomorrow.  Supergirl – “Childish Things” brings us back into the world of heroic Kryptonians and manhunters from Mars while also introducing us to another familiar DC Comics rogue – the Toyman.  CBS released a few clips, along with pictures from “Childish Things”.  Have a look below.

KARA DOES HER BEST TO SUPPORT WINN WHEN HIS FATHER, THE SUPERVILLAIN TOYMAN, BREAKS OUT OF PRISON, ON “SUPERGIRL,” MONDAY, JAN. 18

“Childish Things” – Kara does her best to support Winn when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son for unknown reasons. Also, Cat offers Lucy a job at CatCo and Alex asks Hank to use his powers to help uncover Maxwell Lord’s plans, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Jan. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Henry Czerny guest stars as Winslow Schott, Sr., aka Toyman.  “Childish Things” was written by Anna Musky-Goldwyn and James DeWille, and directed by Jamie Babbit.

Supergirl has definitely found itself and is one of the shows I’m most excited for each week.  It’s great having Kara know that Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) is Martian Manhunter and the special effects are of the highest quality.  It’s good that we have CBS’ Supergirl back on television, especially for the “Super” fans.  Let’s not forget we also have an “Adventures of Supergirl” digital comic debuting on January 25th, which we’ve mentioned here and that Melissa Benoist and Chyler Leigh will be appearing in this year’s C2E2.

Melissa Benoist leads the cast of Supergirl with a cast that also includes Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater.
