Princeless: Be Yourself #3 Preview/Review ~ What'cha Reading?

Princeless: Be Yourself #3 Preview/Review

Princeless: Be Yourself #3 Preview/ReviewIt’s been far too long since we’ve visited one of our favorite series, Princeless. In volume one “Save Yourself” we met Princess Adrienne, a young lady locked away in a tower and told to wait until a prince come and rescues her. Not content to allow someone to “save her” she busts out and, with the help of some newly made friends, decides to rescue all the unfortunate princesses throughout the kingdom.

In the most recent story arc Adrienne and her buddy Bedelia have tracked down Ardienne’s sister Angoisse (also held awaiting princely rescue) and all that stands in the way is, as the synopsis reveals, “a river full of the most dangerous, vile, and deadly creatures in the swamp…and zombies…don’t forget the zombies.” There’s also a terrible swamp creature called The Grimmorax, who’s been hunting down goblins. This could get messy.

Here’s a preview…

I have missed this series. I haven’t kept up with this arc but reading this third issue I was blown away by how tight the storytelling is. This is a book you can just jump into and enjoy. All the characters are well fleshed out and interesting, the plot is still moving forward at a comfortable pace. Oh and Sparky, Adrienne’s dragon, gets a really cool storyline all her own, as you can see in the preview. Even if you haven’t picked up this series before this is an issue you can enjoy.

Princeless: Be Yourself #3 gets 4 out of 5 stars. Go buy this one and catch up with one of the coolest “strong female characters” you can find.
