Penny Dreadful #1 Covers Revealed!

0

May 4 issue 1 of the new ongoing Penny Dreadful comic series comes to stores. Drawn by Louie De Martinis and penned by the Penny Dreadful scriptwriter Krysty Wilson-Cairns! This hit Showtime series has taken the gothic genre and turned it on it’s ear. With characters spanning Victorian fiction including Dorian Grey, Dr Frankenstein, Mina Harker, Abraham Van Helsing, even Dr. Henry Jeckyll this series has become a huge success over it’s last two seasons.

Now Titan Comics is giving us an ongoing series! Originally billed as a prequel to the television show, the story potential is almost limitless and having the series script writer on the comic pretty much garuntees involved interesting totally creepy stories!

Here are the six collectible covers for issue 1, on sale May 4th 2016, Which one(s) do you need?

My personal favorites include Ben Templesmith’s (cover b) & Louie De Martinis’ (cover c). But then again Gulliem March’s (cover a) is really cool and Will Brook’s photo covers (covers d & e) totally rock. Man I’m going to be spending a lot of money in May.
