Own The Bad Guys This July! Suicide Squad Statues!

We all saw the new Suicide Squad trailer this week, didn’t we?  And we’re all hyped for the DC Film Universe, yes?  I could not be more excited for this March’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and August’s Suicide Squad is all but seven months away.  As we grow closer to the release of the David Ayer written and directed film, we’re bound to learn of new merchandise being released.  We previously reported on DC Collectibles Suicide Squad statue solicitation, but now we have our first look at the group of cold cast porcelain statues via USA Today.

DC Collectibles will be releasing statues based on Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Joker (Jared Leto), and newly announced Katana (Karen Fukuhara), and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney).  The initial line will release this July with Katana and Boomerang in August.  Each statue stands at 12 inches tall and will retail for $150.

Deadshot is sculpted by Adam Ross

Killer Croc is sculpted by Alterton

Katana is sculpted by Sam Greenwell

Captain Boomerang is sculpted by Adam Ross

Harley Quinn is sculpted by James Marsano

Joker is sculpted by James Marsano

Suicide Squad arrives in theaters August 5th.  These statues will soon be available to pre-order on ShopDCEntertainment.com and at your local comic shop.  To find one closest to you, please visit comicshoplocator.com

And, because it still excites us, here’s the latest trailer for Suicide Squad.  Captain Boomerang is my personal favorite and I love Jai Courtney.  What about you?  Do you feel there’s a member of Task Force X that stands out?  Is there a particular statue you’re looking forward to adding to the collection?  Or will you be picking up all of them!
