NYCC Program Cover Reveals a Master Race!

One of the most anticipated of comic books is easily Dark Knight III: The Master Race, so it should come as no surprise that ReedPOP has decided to use that as its New York Comic Con program cover.

Frank Miller’s return to his Dark Knight saga, which began with The Dark Knight Returns and continued with The Dark Knight Strikes Again, will conclude with DKIII.  Joining Mr. Frank Miller is co-writer Brian Azzarello, and artists Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson.  Celebrating the impending release of this soon to be historic mini-series, DC Entertainment will have a panel celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Dark Knight Returns at this year’s New York Comic Con.  Here are the details:

Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns is one of the most important and recognized works in comic book history. In recognition of its 30th Anniversary, DC Entertainment returns to New York to celebrate the book that defined a generation. Joining in the festivities will be the amazing cast of top-notch talent, including Brian Azzarello, Klaus Janson, Andy Kubert, Jim Lee and maybe even a surprise guest or two, who are working on the final chapter of the saga 30 years in the making. Be here for reveals, revelations and exclusive artwork!  This is the once-in-a-lifetime panel you CANNOT miss!

It appears that, yet again, Batman will be the star of the show and with Dark Knight III: The Master Race releasing soon, devoted fans of the Caped Crusader will not want to miss out on this year’s event.

New York Comic Con takes place at the Jacob Javits Center from October 8th to October 11th.
