NYCC Day One!

What a great day! Are you coming to Comic Con this year? What???? Of course you are! Wanna know why? Reason #1

Yup, that’s Artist Alley. It’s tucked away on the far side of the Javit’s in the North Pavilion which at first seemed like a crappy way to treat the artists but I’ve got to tell you it’s clean bright and spacious. A loooong way away from the Penta Hotel or those not so nice church basement cons.

In the hour or two I spent in Artist Alley today I got to spend some time with Jamal Igle, Amy Reeder and Brandon Montclare, Erica Schultz and Vincente Alcazar, Katie Cook, Ben Templesmith, Mina Sinewald and Alexia Anastasio, Bobby Timony and Alex Cormack and six or seven others I’m probably forgetting. And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg! Now I know what you’re thinking, “Hey that’s great you got to meet and chat with a bunch of cool artists and writers, what about us!” Well my wonderful comic book fans in the next couple of days I’ll be bring you interviews with lots of these people and many many more!

Keep your eyes peeled for the updates from this site and alternativemindz.com (follow @altmindz on the twitter!) We’ve got content coming lots and lots of content!

For now I’ll leave you with this lovely image that I was greeted by today…
