NYCC 2015: Welcome to New York Comic Con!

Imagine that welcoming voice of the late Sir Richard Attenborough.  Could you hear him saying “Welcome to New York Comic Con?”  Maybe this would help…

Today, Thursday, October 8th starts the four day ReedPop event at New York City’s Jacob Javits Center.  This looks to be an even bigger and more successful event than last year’s.  (Attendance beat San Diego Comic Con!)  As always, New York Comic Con or NYCC for short, isn’t just a pop-culture hub of just comic book news, activity, publishers, writers and artists.  It’s also a paradise for fans of upcoming television shows, hit cartoons, upcoming video games and so much more.

With Jurassic World releasing this month on Blu-Ray and DVD, it’s only natural that the summer blockbuster has a presence at NYCC.  Adorning the main entrance is the famous gates to that infamous park.  However, we are positive that NYCC at the Jacob Javits Center is a whole lot safer.

As we reported yesterday, LexCorp will be offering free WiFi to all that attend.  Check out the details here.

By now, most of you attending and for those that couldn’t make it should be aware of DC Entertainment and the mythic presence of the March 2016 film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.  Chances are when we’re not busy bringing you news as fast as a speeding bullet, you could find us by DC Entertainment, located in the west wing at Booths SC01 and SC02.

We hope you all have a great New York Comic Con and make sure you’re following What’cha Reading on Facebook and Instagram for news on the second.
