Miss Fury #1 - Dynamite Entertainment ~ What'cha Reading?

Miss Fury #1 – Dynamite Entertainment

By Robert “Rob Base” Greenwood

Straight from the pages of Dynamite’s “Masks” and screaming into action is the first lady of High end crime and fashion. Miss Fury #1 takes place in 1943 and what you will soon find out much more recent times. It has elements of Catwoman and then nothing like you have seen before.

Is she a hero or is she villain-ess?

These questions help curve the reader from page to page; the daughter of affluence and high society meets costumed vigilante/criminal. The story jumps from place to place but never lets you lose track of the plot.

As for its first outing Miss Fury delivers fast pace action and a much-needed update of the 1940’s female crime fighter.

I hope the upcoming issues grip the reader by the neck and never let go. I am giving this 3/5 as it is a strong start though it does lose speed in the middle. I think this book is ripe for the picking and the series will be something to watch out for!

From Comixology:

THE PULP HEROINE RETURNS! When Miss Fury foils a wartime plot by Nazi secret agents, she is catapulted through time… or so it seems. Is she really careening from past to future and back, or has she lost her mind? And if her sanity remains intact, can one lone heroine possibly hope to end World War II by herself, a conflict still waged into the year 2013? As witness to generations of bloodshed and violence, Miss Fury has lots of righteous rage… and anger is her fearsome power!
