Lil' Battlestar Galactica, Goofy But Good! ~ What'cha Reading?

Lil’ Battlestar Galactica, Goofy But Good!

Following in the tradition of Itty Bitty Hellboy and now Lil’ Vampi we get Lil’ Battlestar Galactica!

I really enjoyed this one and I can’t wait to buy it for my daughter’s comic collection. Unlike Itty Bitty Hellboy which played fast and loose with the Hellboy mythos, Lil’ Battlestar essentially retells any one of a number of original series episodes in a “Tiny Titans” format. All your favorites are there, Apollo, Starbuck, Boomer, Muffet. And they’re running through the corridors of the ship shooting cylons and trading barbs with grown-ups Adama and Baltar.

It’s a crazy quick read but it’s lots of fun. I hope you put it on your pull list and share it with your kids! There are even activity sheets! I can’t think of a better way to hook them on sci-fi early!

There’s also an adorable variant cover by Agnes Garbowska (which she recently posted to her tumblr)

Can’t wait to get this one for my daughter … and myself. Love the Tiny Titans, Lil Hellboy etc. Great stuff

    • I loved them all too, I will say I found this to be the most all-ages of the current crop. Wish they weren’t one-shots!
