LEXINGTON COMIC & TOY CON IS BACK IN TOWN MARCH 14-16th!The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention is thrilled to announce that we will be back in Lexington for our third year on St Patrick’s Day weekend March 14th – 16th. The event will be held in Heritage Hall at the Lexington Convention Center and features over 60 celebrity media guests and hundreds of locally & nationally known artists, exhibitors, and vendors of all things pop culture!

Last year’s event in Lexington drew nearly 10,000 attendees and this year is guaranteed to be even bigger!  Attendees will have the chance to meet some of the sci-fi and comic industries’ biggest heroes including William Shatner, George Takei, and Nichelle Nichols who played Captain Kirk, Mister Sulu, and Lt Uhura on the original Star Trek TV series and nearly the entire original cast of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers including the original Green Ranger, Jason David Frank and the original Pink Ranger, Amy Jo Johnson among many others. Also appearing will be WWE wrestling greats Mick Foley, Big Van Vader, The Honky Tonk Man, and Jim Cornette! Several cast members from AMC’s The Walking Dead will appear including Lexington born actress Melissa McBride who has played Carol on the show since season 1. TVs Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno and Revenge of the Nerds cast members Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong will all be there as well!

On top of all of the celebrity guests this convention will feature hundreds of exhibits from local and nationally known comic artists including Jim Steranko, Bob McLeod, and many more who will amaze you with their artistic talents and stories from the inside of the comic industry.

Also worth mentioning is that the convention features hundreds of vendors of comics and collectible toys that range in price from $1.00 up to thousands of dollars!  Many of these vendors will be selling items that you may not have seen since childhood and a walk through the convention floor is surely a walk down memory lane.

Whether you are a die hard, card carrying citizen of Geekville, or just a casual watcher of Big Bang Theory, this con will certainly have something for you. So, dust off your Superman costume and come join us for Lexington’s biggest weekend of all things awesome!

The show is open to the general public from 10am – 6pm on Saturday March 15th and 10am – 4pm on Sunday March 16th. Discounted general admissions are available online at www.lexingtoncomiccon.com . Tickets will also be available at the door both days at a cost of $20.00 per day or $30.00 for the weekend.
