With art by Neil Googe (Shotgun Mary, Judge Dredd, Welcome to Tranquility) and colors by Wendy Broome (known for her work on Image titles W.I.L.D.C.A.T.S., Stormwatch, Grifter) you can expect some cool looking stuff, here have a look at these pages I “borrowed” from comixology’s preview of the title:

So how’s the story? Well I wasn’t reading LotDK in 2012 so I bought it, you know to see how it was (and to support I writer whose work I enjoy), oh ok let’s face it I’m an addict LOL.

This story takes place solely between Batman and Harley, and verbal and physical sparring match lasting the whole book and by the end of part 1 we still haven’t answered the “where’s Joker” question. To be honest it was a lot of fun, I’m going to have to buy part 2 just to see how it turns out.

I really miss these types of stories, I had no idea what the arc is or why Bats is after our favorite nut-job but that doesn’t matter the two of them knocking each other around and Harley spouting lines like,

“…flyin’ rats attacking innocent ice-cream eating clowns… it’s a real travesty… I knew a kid named Travis T once, weird little dude…”

make this book an entertaining read, as a stand alone issue I give it a 4 out of 5.

Legends of the Dark Knight (2012-) #49

“Dr. Quinn’s Diagnosis” part 1 of 2! When the investigation of the Joker’s latest disastrous plot stalls, Batman gets creative. Harley Quinn might reveal her puddin’s secrets..if Batman agrees to one demand.
