The Holidays Get a Lil' Gruesome ~ What'cha Reading?

The Holidays Get a Lil’ Gruesome

0

There is breaking news on the Funko front tonight, just in time for the holidays.  The company, now famous for its POP! collection, released a limited quantity (500 pieces) Christmas-themed Lil’ Gruesome figure.  You may remember Lil’ Gruesome characters created by Hanna-Barbera who went head-to-head with the likes of Penelope Pitstop and the team of Dick Dastardly and his dog Muttley on Wacky Races.  Lil’ Gruesome has traded in his purple hair and white lab coat for a more festive red coat with green hair and matching green bow tie.

The attention to detail is great on this piece. They changed the colors without changing Lil’ Gruesome. He’s still the same character we know and love just with some added holiday spirit. He comes in the same box as his original figure would complete with the Wacky Races logo and his same number 40.

As we have already seen, Lil’ Gruesome is a hit and this one will make a great addition to any POP! collection.  I have a growing collection and they are fantastic.  They don’t take up much space and they are a great way to show your fandom for whatever the subject of the collection is whether it be comics, movies or even sports.  I hope Funko does more of these limited runs with their products because it is a win-win for them and collectors alike.

Editor’s Note:

We’d tell you to order it now, before they sell out but unfortunately they already have.So I guess if you want to add a Li’ Gruesome to your holiday decor you’ll have to try ebay (or your local comic shop, you never know.)
