Helheim returns with BRIDES OF HELHEIM ~ What'cha Reading?

Helheim returns with BRIDES OF HELHEIM

0

Back in March, I reviewed Cullen Bunn’s HELHEIM, which goes down as one of my favorite comics of the year (because I didn’t get a chance to get the singular issues last year). This book was fantastic, and I was slavering for more when I turned the last page.

I have gotten my wish. Cullen Bunn posted to his Tumblr today, asking readers to show their interest in the next Helheim installment, BRIDES OF HELHEIM, by filling out a pre-order slip and taking it to our local comic book stores, assuring that we’ll get our books on time. Message received, I’ve already printed mine out and will drop it off when I hit Royal Collectibles tomorrow, to pick up my weekly stash.

Then I checked out Cullen Bunn’s website, hoping to find more about Brides of Helheim, and lo and behold, THIS:

BRIDES OF HELHEIM
Release date: October 2014

Cullen Bunn, Joëlle Jones, and Nick Filardi return to their smash hit Viking horror/fantasy series Helheim! Alone in the wilderness and living in seclusion, the Viking warrior Rikard is confronted once again by black magic and arcane monstrosities. But this time, Rikard seeks vengeance against the warlock who was once master to the witches who wove our undying hero’s bloody fate.

This date is going on my calendar. It’s not up in Comixology’s Pull List site yet, but I’ve got my pre-order ready. All hail Helheim!
