There are certain names that are synonymous with the culture that makes events such as San Diego and New York Comic Con such amazing successes! William Shatner and Nathan Fillion are normal staples of the convention scene. But for real geek cred, Felicia Day (Buffy, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Supernatural) is a major part of the comic-con culture and scene. She’s the creator, writer, and star of The Guild and also has a memoir releasing August 11th, “You’re Never Weird on the Internet [Almost].”
ReedPop proudly announced today that Felicia Day will be a guest at this year’s New York Comic Con, October 8-11, 2015 at the Jacob Javits Center. If you have tickets and our a fan of Day, I’d strongly suggest trying to meet her as she is one of the most down-to-Earth and sweetest of celebrities. At this year’s BEA/Book Con, I had the opportunity to meet her as she promoted her upcoming memoir. Here is the picture to prove it (and to make a few of you out there jealous.)
