Feel Gotham's Wrath of the Villains! ~ What'cha Reading?

Feel Gotham’s Wrath of the Villains!

Greetings Gothamites!  As many of us on the East Coast are digging out from the wrath of Winter Storm Jonas, I bring you some new images of our beloved characters from the hit FOX show, Gotham.  Fox and Gotham have just released a promo poster for the second half which as we all know will revolve around Mr. Freeze (Nathan Darrow), as well as the current villains like Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas).  Our heroes are also featured as well like Detectives James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), Captain Nathaniel Barnes (Michael Chiklis) and Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) who reflects a certain superhero in the image on the bottom right underneath Tabitha.  There’s also a more fierce looking Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), lurking along the fire escapes and rooftops of the city.

I like the look of the poster.  It advertises Mr. Freeze, but still shrouds the characters in mystery as to what will happen to them personally.  Hugo Strange (B.D. Wong) was not included, but it was for the best as it gives him and the fans that element of surprise so when he does show up.  There are many questions that the poster reflects about all of the characters based on how the mid-season finale, “Worse Than a Crime” ended.   We only have a little over thirty days until Gotham’s return and these images definitely help us as we wait.  What are your thoughts on these new images?  What are your thoughts on what may or may not happen in the second half?  I’d love to hear your answers.  In the meantime, stay strong Gothamites, we’re almost there.

Gotham returns Monday, February 29th on Fox.  Check your local listings.
