ComixTribe gets in on the FCBD action!

1

So I’ve become a bit of a ComixTribe junkie, having been introduced to The Red Ten and Oxymoron last year (thank you, Comixology, for having my back!). I’m very happy to see that I’ll be able to meet a few more ComixTribe family members tomorrow, when Scam #0: Crosswords (which expands on their existing Scam title) and Epic #o: Pilot hit shelves for Free Comic Book Day.

ComixTribe gets in on the FCBD action!

Scam: Crosswords gives us Scam, the super-powered con man, facing off against this guy you see on the cover, Crosswords. He’s making a power grab in Europe, but has his mind on Vegas, where he wants revenge. It’s been referred to as “X-Men Meets Ocean’s 11” – how can I resist that?

Epic #0 introduces us to Eric Ardor, a teen who finds himself super-powered after a freak accident (what high school do all of these kids go to, and how did I miss out on these?) – unless he’s around a pretty girl. Boys will be boys.

If you can’t get to a comic book store tomorrow, don’t fret – ComixTribe will make a copy of Epic #0 available to you, FREE, on May 14th. Just check out the Epic page on their website, full details await.

The ComixTribe gang will be out in force for FCBD tomorrow. If they’re in your area, go say hello!

Tyler James and Jason Ciaramella will be at Jetpack Comics FCBD Festival in Rochester, NH, on Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, the biggest FCBD event in the world, signing copies of EPIC and SCAM, sketching, and having a great time.

Cesar “El Guapo” Feliciano will be signing and sketching at A Heroes Legacy Comics in Manchester, CT, from 2-5

Joe Mulvey will be signing at Forbidden Planet NYC from 10 – 2pm.

Alex Cormack will be signing at Larry’s Wonderful World of Comics in Lowell, MA from 10 – 2pm.

If you can’t find a copy of Epic #0 tomorrow, don’t fret – check out ComixTribe’s page and find out how you can get your free download on May 14th.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that The Red Ten’s Kickstarter has been kicking ass in terms of funding! They’re just a few bucks shy of hitting the $10,000 milestone, which will unlock a spot-uv cover upgrade that will make some cover elements extra awesome. You’ve got 7 days left if you haven’t gotten in on the fun yet!
