Comic-Con 2016! By Way of WBTV & TV Guide!

WBTV & TV Guide have announced their seventh Comic-Con magazine special for 2016’s mega pop-culture event.

Comic-Con is one of the largest moments in pop-culture for fans of comics, television, movies, and collectibles.  There are many people who will converge upon San Diego for the four-day event, while many outlets from around the world cover it for those unable to attend.  For seven years now, WBTV and TV Guide have partnered together to publish a special, commemorative magazine to celebrate everything SDCC.  The pairing of WBTV and TV Guide always promises something fun for fans of the DC Comics based properties, with shows like The CW’s The Flash and FOX’s Gotham gracing the covers.  This year, as with the past years issues, WBTV and TV Guide will release four collectibles covers that fans will not want to miss!

Super cover two years in a row!

WBTV and TV Guide’s Comic-Con 2016 issue will feature BlindspotThe FlashSupergirl, and Supernatural along with many great details on the upcoming and returning shows, and DC Comics properties.  Excitingly, this marks the second year for Melissa Benoist as Supergirl to be featured on the cover, and this is the first cover for her to be featured on since the show moved from CBS to The CW.

While the magazine will be available at SDCC, located at Booth #4545, newsstand and digital copies will be out on July 19th.  The 88 page special will include the latest news and photos on several exciting new shows and many returning favorites.  Two of the most highly awaited of programs, Riverdale and Justice League Action, will be featured and is reason enough to pick up the Comic-Con 2016 special.

Have a look at the covers below, provided by Warner Bros.

There’s also a Twitter pitch as well so make sure to take note of that whether you’re at SDCC or not.
