Comic Book Movies @ SDCC ~ What'cha Reading?

Comic Book Movies @ SDCC

So there were many SDCC panels that talked about comics in the movies, here are a few highlights…

Marvel released a movie poster of the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy along with a cast list that confirms that Benecio del Toro as the The Collector, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, and Karen Gillan as Nebula).

DC/Warner is rumored to be announcing a Zack Snyder directed Batman/ Superman team-up movie today in Hall H, as their next released superhero project. Speculators also expect a Justice League announcement as well.

And King of the Whedonites, Joss himself introduced the clip of Avengers Age of Ultron, which as the title suggests will feature the long time villian Ultron as the big bad. This comes hot on the heels of the Age of Ultron crossover event which just ended last spring. Ultron has been a fixture in the Marvel Universe since the late 60’s. Ultron, a psychotic sentient robot, was created by Dr Henry Pym (Giant Man/Ant Man) and has hassled the Avengers for decades. Should be fun! Here’s official SDCC footage of Joss talking about the film….

My only complaint, no Henry Pym. Don’t believe me, watch the video again.
