Coming this week from Comixology we have…
Yea you read it right Nazi Zombies From Hell. Ok, you’re probably expecting me to trash this book, hell I was expecting me to trash this book. First let’s check the blurb…
Chris is a nice guy, he keeps his goldfish fed, he doesn’t really drink and he’s never eaten a doner kebab. So how exactly has he ended up knee deep in undead Nazis from Hell? Find out in the origin story to end all origin stories, or at the very least the origin story to start this one.
Nice guy? Knee deep in undead Nazis? Here’s the deal, Chris is a lonely, sad guy with an odd gift, he speaks to God. One drunken night while trying to solve the problems of the world he asks for something, and boy does he get more than he expected. Let’s meet Chris shall we?
It’s a slow build, the story unfolds more like a movie or tv drama but the payoff was pretty good. For concept, art, and execution I’m going to give this a 3 out of 5. It’s worth the read and it kept me interested enough to want to see issue two.
