Here’s the new Batman v Superman clip from Conan! Did you watch it? Have you seen it as many times as we have? If this is you first or 25th, here it is for you to watch below.
We’re only 70 days away from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and we’ve already seen two t.v. spots, the release of the merchandise, and we’re getting a special on the film and Suicide Squad next Tuesday on The CW. There aren’t many more tricks up Warner Bros. and DC’s sleeves as we grow closer to one of the most anticipated films of 2016. However, one aspect of the Zack Snyder directed film is when will we hear the Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL aka Tom Holkenborg score? Well, in the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice clip that premiered on Conan, we get our first sampling of the upcoming soundtrack. It’s been previously said that Hans Zimmer will be composing the Superman section of the film as he returns to the themes and sounds he created in 2013’s Man of Steel. But to avoid re-addressing Batman, he has instead turned to friend and fellow composer Tom Holkenborg, better known as Junkie XL. Holkenborg scored the George Miller film Mad Max: Fury Road and that soundtrack was met with great acclaim. It will be exciting for soundtrack enthusiasts to hear a new sound for Batman as Zimmer’s work on The Dark Knight Trilogy was/is just as prolific as Danny Elfman and Elliot Goldenthal’s. The soundtrack to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on Warner Bros. WaterTower Music label. As of right now, no release date has been solicited.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25th.
