It’s been almost two weeks since we saw the first teaser trailer for March 2016’s “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” While there’s been an enormous amount of talk surrounding Zack Snyder’s super secret and second installment in the DC Comics film franchise, most people feel we still have yet to see a proper image of the Ben Affleck batsuit. It’s understandable as this is the new cinematic Batman and a hero of this iconic status will always naturally be met with enthusiastic naysayers and reverent, respectable fans. A few nights ago Zack Snyder tweeted the first, full image of just the batsuit. We have that for you here.
Last night, several sites started to report on an image of Ben Affleck’s Batman in circulation. While we at What’cha Reading normally reserve photos of any nature pertaining towards a comic book and/or movie to be worthy of being posted only after being vetted, at this time we don’t have any official word on whether or not this is a legitimate photo. With that, we’ll present that to you here, but please understand that with no confirmation, this could be an elaborate fake.
Lastly, you may have heard that the first official image of Jared Leto as The Joker was released, courtesy of “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer. While the first image of our next big screen take on The Joker has been met with all sorts of words, please reserve judgement until you the film next summer. And remember kids, almost every keyboard muckraker was against Heath Ledger as The Joker, even after the first official image.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens March 25, 2016. “Suicide Squad” released on August 25, 2016.
