WonderCon 2016 Moves to LA!

Comic and pop-culture conventions are now one of the most widely attended, buzzed about, and enjoyed of events for more than just comic fans.  San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con are two of the biggest shows that everyone wants to attend at least once.  However, there are several great and equally enjoyable shows that bring the same level of entertainment and spectacle to the convention scene.  Chief among them is WonderCon.  Comic-Con International (CCI) just announced that WonderCon 2016 will now be taking place in Los Angeles; moving it’s location from Anaheim.

WonderCon is one of the fastest growing comics conventions in the United States and will take place the weekend of March 25 – 27 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Badges will be sold online only, so don’t miss your opportunity to attend one of the country’s best comics and popular arts conventions!

Brought to you by the same people who produce Comic-Con International in San Diego, WonderCon features an expansive Exhibit Hall, filled with pop culture items that are of specific interest to fans. No big box retailers or companies that have no connection to fandom. At WonderCon you’ll find comics and merchandise from many popular artists and retailers, we’ll also have exclusive programming from the top comic book publishers, movie and television panels, anime, autographs, games, portfolio review, and one of the most popular Masquerade competitions on the comics convention circuit!

The Los Angeles Convention Center is within walking distance to LA Live, home to some of the best Downtown Los Angeles attractions, restaurants and entertainment. WonderCon offers the complete convention experience!

  • No badges will be sold onsite. Take advantage of online registration before all badges are sold out. Click here to purchase your badge today!
  • Anyone who wishes to purchase, apply, or register for a WonderCon badge must sign up for a Comic-Con Member ID.  A Comic-Con Member ID is free and available to all adult and junior (age 13 to 17) attendees with a valid and unique email address. Children (age 12 and under) may not register for a Comic-Con Member ID.  Visit https://secure2.comic-con.org/memberid/for more information.

We don’t think you’ll want to miss WonderCon 2016 and even with it taking place opening weekend of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it’ll still be a show certainly worth attending.  Be sure to check out comic-con.org for more information.
